Boat has run great for 2 seasons since buying used at ~300 hours.
This year, first time out started great, then shut off engine and floated for 30mins. Tried to start again, turned over, caught, but died.
Tried a few more times, no dice, then 10mins later, started no problem.
a couple of days later, same thing - ran it for 15-20mins, shut down to float, went to start and same issue - turns over, catches, but dies.
Not a flooding issue. Seems like lack of fuel or air. this second time, we noticed the flame arrester was covered in lint, so we cleaned it off. Boat started.
Since then, seems to be starting OK.
I'm hopeful this solved the problem, but concerned there may be issues with fuel pump. Filter was just replaced.
Anyone else have similar experience?
