    2007 SANTE lacks power and slow to plane....suggestions????

    My 2007 SANTE with 300 hours has suddenly struggled to get out of the hole and on plane. It will only reach a max speed of 36mph. It struggles even more with a rider and the ballasts full. It would only reach 18mph when my son was riding, but at times it will surge to a slightly greater speed. The distributor cap had to be replaced just prior to this because the engine would not start and it had a hole in it. Both exhaust manifold gaskets were replaced and the spark plugs too. Still no solution. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Tough one, I have a 2008 210 and it did the same thing. It was an easy fix, it had bad gas which fouled a plug. How old is your gas?

      I had the same problem with a brand new pcm distributor cap and rotor. The cap started crossfiring after one week. The only way I could figure it out was with a timing light on each plug wire. The flashing pattern should be steady and consistent from cylinder to cylinder. Don't count out the wires either.
