I have a SAN 230 2010 Coastal Edition and just recently been having issues with the screws around the boat coming loose. The floor screws backing out, the bumper rail screws coming out, etc. Has anyone experienced this? I am at the point where I need to put some removable locktight on all of them, but it seems this should not be happening.

Every boat that I have ever had has screws that loosen up over time. It's just part of the constant vibration that boats see. I just did a walk around the entire rub rail on my 08 210 and several of the screws needed re-tightening.

Every boat I have owned too has had screws come loose. My current boat was the worst, but the 502 motor shakes the whole boat way worse then all the others. I think it also has to do with how rough the water is that you typically run on. I would think a coastal boat sees rougher seas than average?2001 Super Air Nautique
