I have a 1994 ski natique closed bow Im new to all boating, I inherited this from my father in law, he took very good care of it however it sat for several years before he passed i had to rebuild the carb it was powder inside, the gas tank still seemed to have a liquid form of gas in it. I replaced the plugs and oil and started it seemed to run pretty goodcarb float wants to stick occasionally however I know how to fix that. Problem is I live in Az not to many boat mech around, I actually took to the water last year ran ok for about 15 min then fuel started spraying up clear tube going to carb assuming fuel pump went bad so i replaced havent taken back out, also I changed the fuel filter several times along the way anticipating clogging due to the old gas. Any thing else I need to be aware of? Also I need to instal a new prop have it however when took old nut off it was loose does this need to be torqued? I know the cotter key holds it in place to not fall off but should nut be tight?Thankyou all
