    Lift shock mount problem

My lift shock mount under the engine cover (on the cover itself) is a little loose and I wanted to tighten it, but it just spins. It seems to be that way for all the screws. I tried to take the screws out but the same thing hapened. It doesnt seem to be an issue now but I want them to be tight. I really dont want to take the skin off to get to the nut or whatever may be on the back side of the screw to get it snug. Is that what it is gonna take? This is on a 2003 210

There is a thread on this i think. One person peeled the skin back a bit. One person pushed down hard on the padding and held the nut until it grabbed the glass and then it didn't turn as the screw was tightened. search or maybe the lucky OP will chime in.

I did push through the pad and I got 3 of the 4 to tighten up and the other ones seems off kilter a bit. I might give it a go again and try to adjust it because I really dont want to pull it back as I dont have any tools to reattach it.
