    2011 PCM 330 engine sputtering

Just finished wakesurfering, drained the ballast tanks heading back to marina about 35 mph and then engine started to sputter. I throttled it back to idle then tried to throttle up it seemed like it wanted to take off then just sputtered again. Limped it back to marina and it idled fine in slip, revved it up no sputter ???. I just filled up with gas and there is no reports of anyone else with bad gas that day it has 27 hrs on it, oil is clean and up any help would be great .

I figured it out I replaced the inline filter, it was totally plugged with the drilling particles from installing the fuel gauge on the tank. When I blew the filter out a lot of the drillings came out. It runs like a dream now smooth plus has way more torque out of the hole.

Somewhere I read there was a design defect in all of them and the gauges didn't read right.

I did'nt replace the gauge just the inline filter, but now that you mentioned the defect in gauges i wondered why I was getting weird readings sometimes. Now i visual look at the gas tank before i take off just to make sure I have enough gas for the day.
