I believe about 99% sure I have a bad relay for my fuel pumps. When cranking I am not hearing the pumps come on. I even put my have on the low psi pump and I am not feeling it run. I know this is a common problem on the GT-40 motors, I searched. My question is can the relays be bought locally like a auto parts store or do I have to order them from some where online like skidm?

Boat ran great on friday. Sunday went to fire it up and would not start. No I didnt check the lanyard but i will. I was not hearing the fuel pumps so I just figurd it ws the relays. My boat is an hour away so I would like to take a relay with me just in case it turns out to be it.

The safety lanyard kills the engine by commanding the computer to not run the fuel pumps.
If your lanyard is disconnected, or has a bad connection, the new relay will not fix that.iComment
