YEAH... Finally.. starts and goes runs perfect! ..Thanks for the great advice... You where right on!!.. it was the ground at the battery.. It looked fine and yet after closer inspection it was cracked(underside of clamp) and loose.. $8.00 new wire.. and months later all is perfect on my 2003 CC 206..the 5.7L PCM.. runs awesome

Additional info: After talking to PCM further they gave me an OEM part number for the Throttle Position sensor(which as it turned out I did not need). OEM # 17123852 at auto zone the part was a duralast part # TPS140 cost was $40.00 in stock, 2 year warranty, ok to return (after i tested mine and it was fine i returned). On the other hand.. at the local boat shop the same marine part number as given by PCM is #R020041.. cost $90.. was not in stock.. one week to get , with a no return policy, same part.

My TPS keeps saying default see dealer on the dash. I did what you did and bought one from autozone the TPS140. When I installed it the RPMS would not go below 1000. Normal is around 650. So I returned the part. Will the PCM tps work if I buy it?

Great question and yet I don't now.. my problem was a ground as described.. it was not the TPS after all . The part from my research is the exact same , so not sure why it will work differently.. Also it has been 4 years since this issue so I barely remember i had a problem. Are you certain you have the same engine and parts as mine? Call PCM and see if they can guide you to a solution.. By the way , what is the problem you are having..?
