1982 Nautique sending unit ?

Where would I be able to find the correct sending unit for the gas tank of an '82 Ski Nautique? I have a generic one in there now and it isn't exactly close to being accurate.

you need to get the sending unit that is the same brand as your fuel guage or replace both to achieve the same

The sending unit is a standard 33 ohm to 240 ohm rated unit make shure it is adjusted for your depth tank whick should be approx. 10". I have used tempo senders for a 12" and moved the float to adjust for the depth.

We have a 1982 SN model 2001. Consider the reading on the fuel gauge a rough estimate only. I'd call it +/- 3-4 gallons at any given point. I've filled until it overflowed and found the needle went shy of the "full" mark. I've also seen the needle suddenly jump from 1/2 tank to 1/4 tank.

I simply regard it as an imprecise estimate of remaining fuel.
