    Backing Up

I've had three boats, a Supra Comp, a MB Sport BOSS 200 and now a 05 Ski 206. Both my other boats backed up to the right, my 206 backs up to the left. Is this normal? Docking it feels totally bass ackwards to me!

Welcome to the "Correct" way to do things. Insted of coming in with your nose to the right, come in with your to the left or your stern to the right, then put in reverse to straighten out. I have heard the props spins opposite of what your use to for two reasons, one to counter act the weight of just a driver in the boat to help stay leval, and also when approaching a downed skier on the drivers side when you put it in reverse it will pull away from the skier which some think is safer. Don't worry you'll get use to it.

I have had mine for 3 years, and the low speed and reverse handling, or more specifically lack of handling is my one and only complaint.

I will gladly put up with counterweighting the observers area to have my boat level with just the driver in it. On a standard drive all you have to do is coast to the skier with the boat off and the swim platform will come to them. Then you never loose sight of them. Sorry to gripe, its my one and only complaint about my CC.
