kill switch PCM 330 YEAR 2007

    guys

removed lanyard ( attached to kill switch) for security whilst away for 2 weeks, returned and put lanyard back on and now engine cranks but doesnt fire up. cannot hear fuel pump priming when press start button.

im thinking kill switch prob. removed it and terminals look ok. pressed the red button all way in with my finger still no start.

how do i test it, how do you Jump the switch, and what exactly is meant by putting a wire between the terminals

    tx for your help

I have a 2002 CC 206 and there are only two wires.. you can by pass the kill switch easily by the following way: disconnect the two wires and attach them together. you can test the switch by using a simple multi meter, once you have taken the switch off: keep track of what terminal the wires came off of.. set the multi meter to test ohms.. one wire to each terminal..push kill switch button switch on and off with finger(or use the lanyard).. this will show if it works or not(the meter will move if it works) I just replaced mine thinking this was the problem and it was a waste of $35 for the switch. I should have tested first. Im still trying to locate my problem thru various testing.. no luck so far.. This weekend I will be tesing the Throttle position sensor.. PCM said most likly this is my problem. I will be testing before replacing like I did last time.
Good luck.. let me know how it turns out

On my 2000 SAN there is a inline fuse coming off the battery that will cause that (as far as fuel pumps and ignition not coming on) and the breaker with the reset in front of the motor will also cause the same prob if it's kicked or bad. (mine went bad earlier this summer) Not sure if your 2002 has the same or not and no clue at all where a 2007 might have the breaker located or if it has the fuse or not...

Great to hear..Mine is fixed as well.. My problem ended up being a broken ground at terminal to the main battery..Thanks everyone for your guidance.
