Bought a 96 SN, The #1 accessory light on the dash stays on all the time unless battery is disconnected. Does not matter if switch is engaged or disengaged. Also put it in the water last weekend and turned on blower switch a couple of minutes before starting engine, started it and it ran for about 30 seconds and kicked the blower switch out and the engine dies. Second attempt same results. Leave the blower switch disengaged and it runs fine. Is either of these items normal ops? Can you help?

RE: wiring problem ?
The blower should not need to be left on for the engine run. Its not even supposed to be on when going faster than headway.
Most of the time you really dont need the blower. I turn it on once I get in the boat, but its only on for about 30 secons before the engin is started usually. Does your engine start if the blower isn't on?I Nautique, therefore I am.

RE: wiring problem ?
Accessory breaker is getting power from some place, either a hot wire is connected to it or a hot wire is is feeding power to it via wires touching some where. I am not to good with 96 however another thing to look at would be if the breaker went bad.
Not sure about the blower issue, only thing I can think of is to check the blower fan and make sure it is spining freely, if it's hard to turn or something stuck in it could cause the electrical problem. The engine shuting off because of it is hard to tell.
Engine needs power from a purple wire to turn on the electrical system on the engine, this wire gets power when the boat is put in the "run" mode (ready to start the engine) You could look for an issue with this wire when the blower is running...
Hope this helps
