Star one wake/Menace watersports - helped on broken pins for my 2006 SAN spinner rack

Both of my pins on my spinner racks broke. The plastic shattered. I tried to work with my Nautique delaership who informed me that the company who they had sub-contracted to make the racks (and pins) is no longer in business. Therefore they would not warranty them. (Even though the boat is still in warranty) A contact in Canada at Pride Marine group gave me the name of the new company and suggested I call them. Brett at Star One/ Menace Watersports was able to find the pins- and ship them out to me. They were SUPER helpful and seem to have all parts in stock - old and new..916-858-1178 Well worth a few buck to get new pins

Wake Fun, since you've actually been there making your the resident expert. I got a question.

It was my understanding that Malibu bought Titan, then basically took the design to the Titan III tower and sold the rest back to some of the original guys. I contacted Titan when I got my Excel to see if they would do a Titan III for me and they said no. Recently I saw a Sport Nautique I believe that had a Nautique version Titan tower, I should have bookmarked it but I didn't. Do you have any idea if they kept the jigs to make more of those? I would love to have a Titan still and realize that one of these days my Monster Tower will have had enough of the weight that gets hung on it from the hydrofoils. The Nautique versions of the tower were not a pretty as the III, but they look better than the original towers they are still making.

Like my other post says, they bought up all the Titan stuff. I don't know about them having all the jigs to make towers. I would contact Danny or Luke and in one email you will find out. My boat had an original Titan I tower on it when I bought it and I was talking to them and they said they would sell me the rear support of a Titan II. Do you remember those? The Titan II rear support is curved vs. my Titan I which is straight. Anyway, he was willing to do that for me, but I didn't since I just spent $$$ on the Menace racks

+1...Menace consists of the former Titan guys...in the same building/space. When my boat was less than a year old, my dealer told me problems with my rack couldn't be warrantied because Titan had been sold to Malibu and Star One/Menace was uncooperative. I called Menace directly and found the complete opposite. I dealt with Luke and he went overboard to fix my racks and make sure I was happy. I'm local so I just took my boat to their shop and Luke rebuilt the spin mechanism while I waited. Menace is at the top of my list for accessories.

              Hey Guys,

The name Titan and the rights to some of the product that was manufactured specifically for Malibu was sold to Malibu.. We are happy to help out with fixing some of the old Titan gear.. Unfortunately Luke is no longer with us.. As for the Series 3 tower it is being redesigned/updated and will be rereleased in the spring of 2012.. We are currently building for Moomba, Supra, Supreme, Chaparral, Sanger, Supreme, Calabria, and a couple other manufacturers but I cant mention thier names till the ink dries. And lets not forget our aftermarket Menace line of product..I have a ton of older parts that were built for Correct Craft, so if you need parts dont hesitate to give me a call and I will see if I can help the best I can.. We are also manufacturing product to help folks that need parts for their towers and accessories from other tower accessories manufacturers that are now of of business. We know that not eveyone has the cash to just replace a broken or malfunctioning tower or accessories, so we are providing the simple parts to get you back on the water.. If you go to our website you can see that we do not put much money into those types of things because as you know the consumer ends up paying for it in product costs.. We let our product speak for itself and rely on word of mouth from fellow boaters that know our cutomer service, the quality of our product and the integrity of our company.. If you have any questions like I said before, dont hesitate to give me a call..

Like Brett said he is a word of mouth type guy. That's can only mean quality, or he out of biz. Make sure we help and spread the word. He went above and beyond for me just via phone and email, and I have yet to purchase anything. But I will forsure.
