How to winterize a 2002 SAN (PCM engine)

    Hello Everyone,
I'm a first time owner of a '02 SAN (PCM engine) and I am sad to say that after this up and coming weekend it looks like the boat will be going away for the winter. I just have a few questions that I was hoping everyone on PN could help with so my first winterization goes as smooth as possible.
    1) Is there anything special I should know about winterizing the lines before storing (when compared to four winns that we've had in the past)?
    2) For the spring I will need some SAE40 weight oil as per the manual, but I am finding it hard to locate around the Toronto, Ontario area. Is there any oil that is just as good when compared t the SAE40??

    Thanks,

For item 1) just make sure you drain and refill with AF - there are good threads on this if you search.
For item 2) it depends on which engine you have, but given your location and assuming your running in the Spring and Fall a multi grade oil will be better than straight 40 weight oil regardless.
