Was wondering if anyone knows the size of spanner needed to tighten nut as water is streaming out of stuffing box
Is it possible to repack with fibre without taking shaft out
Was thinking of replacing stuffing box with oj dripless shaft seal has anyone got any installation advise
Lastly any help on which side to access the problem from as I will have to take ballast tanks out maybe fuel tank
Not looking forward to this

If you are going to work on the packing gland then the easiest way to gain access is to remove one of the mounts for the v-drive after that then your access is a lot better but converting to a dripless system is the best thing to do on that set up. But off the top of my head I cannot remember what size but remember the threads are reverse threads.
