    2002 SAN Team Edition Winterization

I have been reading all of these threads on winterizing and I am still struggling. This summer i bought a 2002 SAN Team Edition, so now I want to make sure that I winterize both the ballast tanks and the engine properly.

I have been looking online for a step-by-step procedure for both in a Manual or something but can't really find anything.

So your input would be greatly appreciated.

    thanks

The only thing missing from that guide is your v-drive. It's straight forward, 2 plugs labeled "water drain" or something along those lines.

I'm in the same boat, so to speak... 1st winter dealing with my 2000 SAN. for the ballast tanks, I pulled the line at the Y (where the main line splits to go to the 2 tanks, after the pumps. That is the lowest point in the system I think. It's right in front of the bilge pump in my boat. Do that and open the vents, and that should drain the whole system except maybe the pumps themselves. I pulled the pumps because they weren't working, but you could just blow into the line with a compressor and shoot everything that's in the pumps out of the thru-hull once you pull that one line.
