I've to install a heater in mine SN with the Pro Boss. One off the hose comes on the intake manifold but the other hose comes on the waterpump, but that's not possible on the Pro Boss. So I will mount it in the place of the drain plug in the metal elbow in the large hose from the thermostat housing to the water pump. Is this a good idea or is there a beter solution, please let me now

RE: Heater instal
Call up heatercraft and ask Dan for the "Y" pipe. That is about the only way to get heat a low rpms, and it will help you with your install. I tried the outlet of the metal elbow. Much better install with Y pipe.2005 Ski Nautique 206 SE, Acme 422, PP SG 8.0, ND Tower

RE: Heater instal
What does the "Y" look like? Brass, plastic, is it more of a "T"? Could I find it at the local hardware store? I'll be installing our heater soon so I'm just trying to get ready. Thanks!Jeff

RE: Heater instal
The Y pipe is a venturi pipe. It is made of Metal and fits into the raw water hose between the raw water pump and manifold. It pulls the hot water from the block through the core and back into the engine. Its around 35.00. You can also find them on Ebay as an engine flushing kit.Nautiqueless in San Diego

Airjeff, what rick say's is ok, I've order the Y-pipe at Ski Dim and they say that I must connect the Y-pipe at the vacuum side of the raw waterpump this is between the water inlet of the boat and the raw waterpump. But it's looks me better at the elbow drain, I've send a mail to heatercraft but have no answer jet
