Any idea what this is for?

I discovered a knob under the dash, just to the right of the steering wheel (from driver’s perspective). The wires disappear into a conduit and loom so it’s difficult to follow them. Any ideas what it might be for?
Boat is a 2003 216 Sport SE DD.

Looks like a rheostat - something to do with the stereo? - perhaps volume balance between different sets of speakers like front/rear or boat/tower?

I came across the same knob on my '02 SAN while I was winterizing the boat. Unfortunately the batteries were taken out so I wasn't able to test it.

It looks like the gain control for the secret microphone that relays all of your conversations back to CC headquarters.

I think the newer models have secret cams that transmit video of the topless ballast in addition to the legacy audio.

I think that might be for adjusting the speedometer needle while using zero off, found mine under the cup holder driver side.

Yep, that is for calibrating the spedo. Works well when on flat water with a gps handy.
