    Winterization/de-winterization

A suggestion and I do apologize if this has already been proposed but if PN had a separate category for "winterization" and "de-winterization" that became a database for newer owners, or even us longer term owners, to refer to, it seems this would be a very valuable resource and easy access information. Those of us that own yr/engine/model specific Nautiques could submit our procedures we go through to prepare for both winter layup and spring launching. The data base could be added to and changed based on better suggestions or differing opinions on what to do or not to do. This way, people could access what is suggested for each yr and model and see the "best practice" for their yr/model/option boat. I really think this could be compiled rather quickly, given the wide range of members on this forum, and would eliminate a lot of the "winterization" questions and problems some face. I have quite a procedure I go through each yr but would really find value in comparing my prep with other like '04 +/- 196 owners.

    You have my vote
while i appreciate Jeff letting me know that there is a link in the owners manuals that are on this site, what i really wanted was feedback from other owners that have ideas, procedures tips that make it easier to winterize my boat. I can read a manual, but I'm new to Nautique and any help by other members would be welcome
