SANTE Fuel Guage

I have a 2002 SANTE and the fuel gauge works sometimes and doesn't work other times. Anyone have any suggestions as to what to look for to fix this? (Other than taking it to the Marina and getting charged an arm and a leg!)

I would start with checking the sending unit first. Gain access to the tank under the floor and remove the unit from the top of the tank. Operate the float up & down to see if its registering correctly. if not, a replacement unit is not too expensive. That is normally the first part to go bad.
