    Water Filter

I can't get my water filter off - too tight. Other than recommendations to hit the gym, etc., is there a tool I could use or some ingenious method? I was thinking of using an oil filter wrench, but the canister is plastic and don't want to crack it. It's for a 2001 SAN.

Use one of the rubber strap oil filter wrenches, should work pretty easy and remember - righty tighty, lefty loosy. I put a little lithium grease on the threads of the plastic bowl (and rubber seal) when I re-install and makes removal easier the next time. You do not need to reef on the tightening either, that will make a difference on future removal as well.
