sender for temperature gauge for 94-99 Nautique

I'm looking for a temperature sender for the stock teleflex gauge in my 1999 Super Sport. Has anybody ordered one and then confirmed that the gauge reads properly after installing the sender?
My gauge looks like the one in the following picture:
    http://www.nautiqueparts.com/enginet...eteleflex.aspx

I tested the gauge with an ohmmeter and it seems to match the TS25421 sender listed here:
    http://www.teleflexsierra.com/TS2542...view_id.491529
Unfortunatley, I can't find anyone that has the TS25421 in stock. The following website lists the 02031-00 as a cross reference for the TS25421:
    http://www.twinsrecreation.com/SR-TS25421.html
I ordered a 02031-00 and discovered that it is a temperature switch, not a temperature sender.
So i went to Autozone and dug through the boxes until i found a sensor that is the proper size. I installed it and it works, but the temperature
is reading way too high on the gauge. (gauge says 220F when an IR thermometer indicates 160F)
    Any suggestions?

Give Ed League at Orlando Nautiques a call, they should have the proper sender in stock and can ship to you. Ed's a great guy and knowledgeable and has helped me out a bunch.

One of our site sponsors Nautiqueparts.com will have it in stock also. It just isn't listed on website. David has always come through for me for anything I needed. Prices are competitive also.
