Has anyone ever sent their PP back to the company for repair? My down button has not worked since I bought the boat. I think they are expensive just to but the display unit, so was thinking of sending it off to PP in Canada for repair if possible. Anyone have experience with this? How long did it take, was it fixed?

Never had to send anything back but Perfect Pass are extremely helpful. I had issues with my system so I e.mailed Perfect pass and they were totally helpful. Considering I had never actually brought anything from them as my system was already fitted before I purchased the boat I thought they were excellent. Contact Aaron Adams at Perfect pass support he will help you out.

I had issues with my perfect pass as well. On mine the up button was ticking and ran the PP gauge up to 89 mph and now it has stopped working completley. I contacted PP and they advised me too send the gauge in and if it was not fixable under a $40 limit I could purchase another PP gauge for approximately $40 plus shipping. I just sent the gauge in a couple days ago and I have not heard back from them yet.

In 3 years I have had it I have had a lot of problems off and on for perfect pass on my runabout...Bad master module(s), bad wire crimp in connector to motor, bad gps this year. I think gps was always bad since i usually had to start boat then turn boat off and on before perfect pass would work.
Aaron is good to deal with just send it in they will fix or replace and send back. Usually he is quite reasonable as far as charges. I vouch for their customer service.
