    potentiometer/TCP failure

This part has failed 5 times in 600 hrs. Water divert has been installed. Last one has only 20 hrs on it and has failed again. Anybody?

Did you install the TCP yourself or did a shop do it for you. If you are installing them yourself make sure the throttle cable is not over traveling past idle or wot. Also are you just replacing because the because you are cutting out to idle and showing a code because sometimes it is not a bad sensor as it also could be a bad electrical connection in the boat harness. Good luck and hope you find the issue.

Ive done a few my self but Nautique has done it a few times also. Going to check the travel. I haven't thought of that. But there have been times it set a code and other times no code. Engine just cut to idle and that always fixes it. This boat has had electrical issues from day one. Thanks for the reply
