Eventually, mine showed up in the double size of my order as promised. Much thanks. Since I had already waxed my boat and didn't want to have the BTS pull the wax out at this point, I used it on my silver 2010 VW CC. I had washed it during lunch. So it was basically clean. As I sprayed BTS on, you could see dirt running down with the excess. Worked it in with the included sponge and buffed it out in sections. Looked nice for not a lot of work. More might look better. Time will tell if it shines better than a wax on a car. We shall see. Hit the inside with Vinylex. Not ready to jump ship from that goo stuff for interior/vinyl work. It has served me well for years.

are yall just spraying on, wiping it with sponge, letting dry, and then wiping with a towel? does it need to be really worked in on application? can it be taken off with a buffer?

I applied my 4th coat with an orbital buffer, and buffed off. Seemed to work really well for me. I still prefer 303 on the vinyl, but BTS realy shines up the gel.

I applied 3 coats to my boat on wed... Boat had a nice shine. I put the boat in the water for 4 days. I pulled the boat out today and was disappointed with the results. The boat had the usual hard water spots. I applied another 2 coats of BTS and it did not remove the spots. I was hoping the prior 3 coats would have prevented the spots in the first place. My search for the wonder product continues.

I'm running a "test" between btw and poor boys which I have been using for years. I did 1/2 my boat in each one. It has only been in thewater twice but both seem equal at this point. Each left water spots if not towel dried which was a disappointment but the spots did come off when wiped with a damp towel.

It def puts a noce gloss on the gel, but does not do so great repeling the river scum line on the hull.

if we are basing this off of not doing anything after being in the water than it did poor. if its based on after i wiped the boat down witha towel, then it did good. everything came off and with ease.

Yes... My river scum line was there. The Colorado River water is high in minerals. When you have minerals and high heat you get really hard water spots. I have yet to find a wax or other product that will stop the spots. I usually just use vinegar and water mix between my power buffing using 3m cleaner wax. I have been using this http://www.seaspotgo.com/ which works well to remove the spots...

I used it on my car since I had already waxed my boat by the time it showed up. Didn't last very long on the car. You could tell it was on when you first applied it. But after two weeks, the car felt like it needed a waxing. I'll likely stick with carnuba wax on both car and boat. BTS made a nice shine, but I'm a couple of months out since I waxed my boat and it still feels silky smooth.

                      YMMV

Any updates on durability here? Getting ready to wax and have been contemplating BTS or Collinite. What do you guys think?

My take on the results is that the BTS is more like a super wipe down spray rather than a wax that will last a while. Mabey if you get a few coats on it will begin to do a better job, nobody seems to have done that though.

I can wipe week old waterspots off my boat with a dry towel, that was done with Colonite Memorial Day. I haven't been using it as much as I usually do, but I've probably had it in the water a dozen times since then so that's still good. The Babe's and water with a little vinegar will definitely get me through to Labor Day so I'm not changing what I do on the outside. The BTS is still interesting though for the inside if it works reasonably well and I don't have to use so many different things to clean the inside of the boat. I may give it a shot for the Labor Day detailing and see if it stands up to our busy fall schedule.

I'm still using it, works fine for me. Spray and wipe about every other outing.
