I have always sprayed mine down after each use with 50/50 water and vinegar. Do you know what that would do to this stuff? Our lakes have really hard water and I hate spots. I have tried a few things. but keep coming back to the 50/50 mix.

Two questions I have. Does it contain a bunch of silicone and does it have UV protection?

I do, malco'd them clean and then BTS'd them. I found that spider crap will not stick like concrete anymore, now I just wipe with a dry rag and the black dots break loose.

Yep what I got too. My first order just got the bottle I bought, sponges were a nice surprise even though I use a micro fiber towel.

                          Hi,

My name is Rob. I am a co developer of BTS Protectant. Please don’t take this as an advertisement but more of an informative post. I have read this thread and wanted to make sure that everyone was up to speed on exactly what BTS is and the benefits it offers users. I also want to thank all of you that use BTS and the great comments you have shared here on the forum.

BTS is a real departure from most of the products that many of you use. It is akin to the “Nano Tech” marine products sold to boaters in Europe for over $100. per liter. BTS is not a wax, cleaner or detailer although it can be used for these purposes. BTS is formulated to act as total line of defense for your whole boat. Think about the surfaces of a modern boat. They all are made of a group or family of compounds we can refer to as synthetics, some form of plastics or “polymers”. From your hull, to your seats, carpet, dash panel and bimini top all are made up of man made synthetics. All of these items have common enemies; sun, chemicals, mold and water borne dirt exposure. These forces degrade surfaces and soil their new look and feel. As has been mentioned in this thread, BTS will stop the damage and staining caused by UV degradation, spider droppings, mold and mildew, hard/dirty water and much more. Total protection from your tower speakers to your ballast bags and everything in-between.

Being chemists, it made sense to us that there could be a single product that could take care of protecting all surfaces of modern boats. We here at BTS are avid boaters like you and were tired of having to use 10 different expensive products and spend hours of labor to protect our investment and keep our expensive toys looking good. Five years of development and 5 years of field trials went into the product we call BTS. The result is a product that will protect all the parts of your boat from “bow to stern” with ease and with amazing results. You will find that BTS is the easiest to use and most cost effective product on the market. For those of you that would like to know more about BTS, in a more technical explanation please check out: http://www.btsprotectant.com/about/btsdifference/.

The bottom line is, once you try BTS you will love the stuff on all of your toys.

If you would like us to offer an “introductory special” to the members of PlanetNautique, please respond to this thread.

                          Thanks for your time,

                          Rob
