Just got back from our first lake trip of the year. Boat ran like a top.

Jealous. I wanted to be out in Feb (earliest ever) but the rains kept my out. This week, I'm stuck in Lima, Peru so no go. But it least I'm enjoying it and getting paid for it at the same time.

Played golf here yesterday. I think being below the equator affects your game. The strange grass and borrowed clubs doesn't help either.

Bear in mind, I'm a transplant from Houston. There are things about east Texas I may never have figured out.

Agree and it is funny I've transplanted here to Houston from far south but much closer to the gulf.

I couldn't remember which one of you eastex guys was not actually even a Texan. I think it came out one time when I had to explain why a redneck Texan would drive a Jeep into a river and remind the famous last words of a Texan...."Hold my beer and watch this!" or something similar.
