I have a 2001 SAN and the back hydraulic lift engine hatch pump went out. Does anyone know where I should take this to get repaired or also had this problem?

Talk to your dealer about getting a new one. They aren't cheap but they are pretty easy to install. Are you sure it was the lift engine itself though? Check the fuse and the breakers first. -

Hey I had a problem with my lift too. I checked everything out and finally decided that it was the actuall 6 pin switch that controls the lift. So check that and make sure everything on that is connected and that it works.if con is the opposite of pro, is congress the opposite of progress???Comment

I may have the wrong terminology. There are 2 arrows by the dash that when you press, lifts the back cover up and down. Now all it does is click and doesn't raise the cover or lower it. I don't think they have this after 2000, since they went to the 3 piece back instead of 1 piece, but I could be mistaken....Comment

But what Polkaking said, check the connections first. Try to connect the elektromotor directly (with another fuse line) on the battery. So disconnect the hydraulic from the normal circuit and connect does 2 wire to the battery power.. If the arm still doesn't move it's really broken, but this hardly ever happens...230 with ZR6 running on propane
