    Few of my Maintenance Questions

    99 SAN

    1) The bracket that connects the spring to the bottom of the glove box broke. There are 2 holes where the screws went. What can I use to fill them and reattach?

    2) I have 2 Attwood 750 pumps filling up my ballast atm. Would an upgrade to 1200's make a significant enough difference to justify the purchase? (80 bux?) I don't think I have it in the budget to fully switch over to ballast puppies at the moment.

I am not familiar with springs in the glove box, but a good brand of epoxy or JB weld should help you rebuild the screw holes.

I would probably only upgrade to the 1200's if you have a bad pump that you need to replace. Otherwise I would save my money for the ballast puppies.

I think MarineTex might be a better choice. It is available at every marine store I've been into....and several box / sporting good stores:
