I don't mean to be a pain, but please make sure you know which hose that is, and where it comes from and leads to, becasue if you happened to have taken that hose from one of the thru hull fittings on the side where both the bilge pump and the ballast overflow are located side by side, you'll see 2 sizes of hose, and at least on the later models I have been working with, I believe the smaller (.75") is from the bilge pump and the larger (1") is from the ballast tank overflow. (So you'd be disabling the bilge if you are removing the wrong hose.) Take a second and trace it back just to be sure.

Hose=measured on ID
Tubing=measured on OD
This makes it easy when putting a section of tubing in line with hose (like putting some stainless tubing section in place of mufflers on a classic CC). It makes it a little more difficult to put in copper pipe in the same place... that has an OD of 3-1/8". Not fun stuffing that into a 3" ID hose.1990 Ski Nautique

However, that hose does not look factory. The factory looks more corrugated. Like the premium hose at wakemakers. It is more bendable. That hose looks more like the less expensive, less plyable, but stronger hose at wakemakers. It also looks like your cooling system hose. You can use that type of hose, but I do not think it is factory. That said, it is hard to tell by the picture.Now
