1997 Ramlin Trailer Size and Rim

    Howdy all!
I am looking to add a spare tire to my trailer. I really want to get the exact same rim that is currently on there, although the might be a pipe dream.
Does anyone know the manufacture of that rim? I looked briefly and couldn't find anything.
How about the rim sizing, so I can narrow down online searches.

Here is a quick picture, not the best, but will do.

Also, while I am here. What is the best way/place to mount the tire?

    Thanks,
    Brennan

There is nothing special about the wheels that Ramlin used. Its a standard 15" trailer wheel with a 6x5.5 lug pattern. The style is "modular". Like this:

Ramlin paints the wheels black and then puts a chrome trim ring on them. Like these:

    The tire size is 225/75/15.

This spare tire mount works well... its one of the only ones Ive found readily available that fit the 6-lug rims.

I recently had a catastrophic failure with one of my wheels ('01 Ramlin) and will be going through the same drill. I don't know the exact manufacturer and I doubt ramlin will share -- i haven't had a ton of luck dealing with them directly. I haven't pulled the trigger yet, but will probably go this route:

My wheels are 14", and I'm likely going to have them ship it with a Marathon /ST21575R14 on it. I have a tandem so that may be why the wheels are a tad smaller.

Also will probably get at least a couple new trim rings. I was looking at these.

I'd be curious to hear what route you go and how well what you end up with matches.
