Why am I in limp mode with no faults showing?

I used my boat all day Saturday, pulled seven people with not a single issue. Sunday morning the check engine light wouldn't go off and I got sent into limp mode. However, no low oil pressure or faults come up. Any ideas

I have the GT40 engine and I just had the same type of issue and it was the oil pressure switch that went bad. I was told you can just unplug it for the time being and the engine will run normally. It is the switch, not the sender. They are in the same line. Hopefully this helps. To test, just unhook the wire and see if the light goes off. See my post from 2 days ago to see pictures of what I am talking about.

Sorry I should have mentioned its an ex 330. However, I suspected the o.p.s. I'll check it tomorrow. That makes me feel better about the situation.

I just had the same problem diagnosed. 2005 ex 330. Oil Pressure Switch seems to be a common failure mode on these.
