    Please confirm

I was changing the oil on the boat I bought over the winter and noticed one of the hoses going into the filter is marked as "IN" but the arrow on the top of the filter housing is pointing out. Can someone confirm that it is set up correct? I am assuming the "IN" hose is going in at the other end. Kind of hard to see in the pic, but the one hose is marked.Click image for larger version

I am guessing that the hose marked "in" is referring to back IN to the engine. If I am correct your setup is fine.

Thats what I am guessing too, but seeing this is my first Excalibur, I figured I would ask.

Most oil filters have a check valve so, if the lines were backwards, you would get no oil pressure.
