Strut bushing replacement

I just finally got a chance to get my 93 nautique into my shop and get started on it. I was giving it the once over and noticed the strut bushing seems to have plenty of play so I'm going to pull it out and replace it, and also send my prop off. Any suggestions where to buy the bushing from or anyone have someone they reccomend sending my prop to? When I bought the boat last year the prop was tweeked so I got it close to get me through the rest of the summer but now I'm going to send it out.

Anything else I should check while I have everything apart? I'm new to inboards, have only owned I/O's before.

Noticed Nautiqueparts had a solid bushing and skidim has two separate bushings that would have a space between them. Anyone have any insight on which to go with? My thoughts since I run this boat primarily in sandy river water maybe the separate cutlass style bearings would be better to flush sand thru them...anyone have any experience on this?

Well I got it all torn apart last night. What a pain. The shaft is worn so I'll have to spray the shaft and turn it back down to the original diameter.

I didn't realize i would have to since i just pulled the shaft and strut...do you have any advice as to aligning the shaft?

Also, instead of working on that shaft....wouldn't it be cheaper/easier/faster/better to just get a new one from www.nautiqueparts.com and use the PN discount?

It only took me a couple hours to rebuild it and this way I was able to build it up with a harder material than it was made from so I should never have to touch it again unless it gets bent.

What's the code for the PN discount?

One thing I was also thinking, if your shaft has enough hours to wear that much...it is also fatigued and at risk of breaking off. Maybe not if it is worn just due to sand or dirty water....and a low number of hours.

Thanks. Its ran it's whole life in sandy river water. It wasn't worn too badly just figured while I was doing everything else I'd rebuild it as well. The boat only has 490hrs on it.
