    Got some great cleaner today

I'm not selling this stuff nor do i work for these guys. Today a traveling salesman came by our business with this miracle cleaner . You know the stuff they sell door to door.

Its called Little Effort and its incredible for the interior of our boat. I have never seen a cleaner that works this well. Its silicone free too

    Anyways great stuff

Are there any chemicals that will break down the plasticers in the vinyl?
There are tons of things that will clean a boat (409, clorox) that I'd never think of putting on my boat.
G&T, makers of the vinyl for CC recomends ZCare. There used to be another cleaner you could get at your local walmart/target, but they changed the formula several years back & introduced a chemical that harms the vinyl into their formula.

The other cleaner was Fantastik, which you can no longer use. I don't know how ZCare works, but the prior stuff recommended by G&T was slightly less effective than distilled water.

zcare works great. I'm about to order more form www.nautiqueparts.com My spring cleaning put me low. It is the best I've used but I haven't used many and don't plan on trying more because it works.

        ALL: with all cleaners:
don't clean in the heat/bright sun
rinse/soak it all down first with fresh water
Spray/scrub only what you can do in a short time
rinse thourougly and rinse and rinse again.

          hi Guys,

IMO the best thing out there and I think everyone will agree with me is Aerospace 303. Its natural and works wonders on Vinyl. I have never seen the whites that white then after using this stuff.

I do not agree with you. Aerospace 303 is a protectant with only mild cleaning properties. They may make a different cleaner that works, although the Aerospace Vinyl cleaner I have tried was only okay.

Gotta disagree with you there... I have G&T's former cleaner (ePHx) and the stuff is awesome. My guess is the zCare stuff is just a new name (same formula). Short of Magic Erasers, I havent found anything better.

I agree that 303 is a great protectant, but a lousy cleaner.

ePHx never worked well for me. I still have a nearly full bottle.

                  ditto. 303 protectant won't clean a thing.

303 cleaner is okay but not great. 10 percent as good as the z stuff.

I think 303 cleaner is approved for sunbrella but I have better luck with a water hose.

I noticed you mentioned Magic Erasers. I've used these on my last boat and they were amazing. Cleaned dirt from the vinyl that I thought would never come out. Only question I have is has anyone else used these with success and is there anything that can be damaging to the higher quality vinyl that CC uses. Just want to be as careful as I can.
