2002 front ballast pump/ up,down buttons?

Is this pump switched on from a different switch than the rear? When I push the fill button the two rears kick on, but the front never gets 12volts. Maybe I have a broken wire somewhere but I wanted to make sure I wasnt missing something first. Also what are the up and down arrows for located next to the keypad?

I just bought a 2002 as well and had the same question about the up/down arrows. Apparently they do nothing and are left over from previous years when the one piece engine cover had an electric actuator on it. Also, all your pumps should be coming on with one button. Must be a bad wire, or bad pump. If you checked and it is not getting 12v when the switch is on, I would start tracing the wire back.
