    PCM Transmision Oil/Fluid

Have a 94 Ski Nuatique with a PCM transmision. Getting it out of storage and noticed the transmision has fluid(red) in it. Have no clue what it is as I bought the boat last year. The manual indicates the PCM transmision needs 20W20 engine oil. What should I do here? Do I need to flush the transmision or is there fluid that's a suitable replacement for the 20W20 oil? Thanks for you help in advance.

I think you can just use dexron in that transmission.

PCM used 20w oil in the first 1.23/1 to cure a noisy gear problem but switched to Dextron in 1993 in all trans, but you can flush the trans if you have the 20w and switch to Dextron.

If it's red, my guess is that the previous owner already switched to Dexron/Mercon.

Thanks for your help! I'm going to stick with the Dexron. Even though my transmission label reads "20W." I'm guessing at some point a dealer switched, the previous owners says all fluids were done by a dealer. The fluid in it looks great, but I'll replace this weekend anyway as the previous owner could not tell me how long it had been in the boat, couple of years, he guessed. The boat has only had 100 hrs put on it in the last four years........
