    Stiff Steering Right

I just replaced the steering cable on my '93 Sport as last season it was stiff steering to the right. Went out today and it still doing the same thing. Not as hard as previous, but still still. It turns left with no problem.

    Thanks

The stiff steering is due to the torque of the prop. The way to test the steering is at while floating in neutral. The wheel will spin both directions easily.

Did you grease the rudder when you replaced the cable, you may have to remove the rudder to do this. If you do remove the rudder remember to replace the safety wire when you put it back together.
