2000 Air Radio cover broken

Hey ALL,
when I bought my 2000 Air it came with a broken radio clam cover. The cover was on the hinge attached to the boat but the cover side was glued. The glue has finally let go and I want to fix it right. I have never actually seen how it is supposed to be attached. I am hoping someone can help me and post some pictures or suggestions.

I have the same boat and coincidentally, my son ripped the cover off the last time he was in the boat. I've since glued the metal rail back on but have not re-attached it to the boat. I'll get some pics for you this evening. This has already happened once and I used gorilla glue. My go-to glue now is E6000, available from most craft or hardware stores. They may also have a UV variant, which would be preferred.

and thanks to NautiqueJeff but the coveer is quite different than that one from Nautique parts. If my boat was here I would post a pic. Maybe this weekend.

I had the same pr4oblem with my 2000 Ski. I cleaned both surfaces with acetone, then used JB Weld and clamped it until dry. It has held for 6 years now.
