I am tring to swap out the fixed cleats with the pop ups.
All 4 holes don't line up but I believe I can make it work.
I plan on using the two bottom holes and the old holes on the top will be in the void that is made by the hole I will cut for the pop up cleats. On the driver's side the backing plate won't fit flush due to the contour for the instrument pod.
The gas tank flange has a cut out in the contour.
I plan on doing the same for the backing plate.
Can anyone with a 95 to 99 SS that came with pop ups near the driver and passenger's seat take a pic for me so I can see how the backing plate fits?
