    ACME 816 prop on 2004 Nautique210 team

Hi, just purchased a Nautique 210 and wondering if this prop is any good for wakeboarding. I have looked on this site and can not find any info on the AMCE 816 13.5x17.5

I presume this prop will be no good for boarding??? I also wakeboard at sea level and I will be adding additional ballast if this helps.

If not It looks like I will be buying a 1464 or 1236 prop.

Has anyone used this prop and what is it like..

    Thanks

That would be a terrible prop for Wakeboarding, especially with any extra ballast. I presume you have the standard 330 hp engine? 17.5 inch pitch is really high. I have run the 644, 856, and 1236 on mine. At sea level with no more than 6-800 lbs of extra ballast, the 644 is actually a pretty good prop, but I love the 1236. It is a stump puller.

So the 1236 is the way to go OKWAKEBDR, had a look on the site HS but no mention of the 1236, is this the best option for this boat. It is a 330hp engine, thanks for the input so far.

The 1464 is the same prop as the 1236 but with less cup. I doubt anyone could even tell the difference. Personally, I like the extra cup even if I can't tell the difference. The 1248 is almost the same as the 644, just a little larger diameter. Again, prob a decent prop for sea level with no more than 1000 lbs over stock, including people. Check out delta propeller, they are a sponsor of this sight and offer a great discount. I've never found cheaper prices.

Thanks OKWAKEBDR, looks like I will be ordering a new prop, sounds like the 1236 is the one to get. I will Get onto Delta props ASAP and see how we go...
