You need to use a solvent based outdoor carpet adhesive. The best place to buy it is a flooring store or if you must a box store. Make sure you don't get any adhesive on the surface fibers. Apply pressure with weight if you can until it dries.
You can get outdoor/marine carpet adhesive from the section of Home Depot were the outdoor carpet/astroturf is located. Technically you should use the appropriate trowel to apply it, but for a small section I'd slap it down without worrying too much about it.
