    Low profile trailer tires?

    For those of you using low profile wheels/tires on your tandem axle trailers, what brand of tire has done well for you?
    The boat trailer that came with our boat was setup with 18" wheels and Nexen tires, 255/45/ZR18, 103Y Extra load tires.

    1999 Pro Air Python-sold and moved away :-(

    My trailer has Nexans as well... too early to provide a reasonable review but I do believe they are the Boatmate standard on 18" wheels.

      Low profile tires transfer a tremendous amount of shock from the road directly to your hull. Tall side wall tires go a long way in absorption of road issues. Also, low profile tires can get you hung up or scraping the trailer with the right (or wrong) angles. Something to think about...
