Easiest way to install any rubber impeller is to use a zip tie to get it to "lay down" the correct direction on a work bench. With the zip tie still on it start it in the housing then cut the zip tie.

Joe had a great tip, hadn't heard that one before. To remove them, get a couple of the paint can lid openers/church key, and use the small end (paint lid side) to work behind/under the impeller to be removed, should pull right out with the two tools.
I think the '08's didn't come with the green impellers as standard.
