Navigation and anchor lights not working

We had the boat out for the first time this year. It was getting close to dusk so I put the pole in the back, pushed the buttons and nothing. The courtesy lights and the dash lights came on, but the pole light and the light on the bow didnt come on. I checked all the breakers and no problems there. The green indicator light next to the button comes on also. I checked the bulbs also and the dont seem to be blown. Any suggestions of what to check next? 2001 SAN

The front was the bulb had gone bad. the socket that the pole light plugs into had a post broken off inside. I ordered a new socket for the rear and problem
        solved.
