Jabsco pump failure coming?

Starboard tank wouldn't empty today. Others fine. Dash switch light blinking for empty cycle, go look at pump and nothing (no pump noise and no vibration). Checked the breaker panel, fine. Ended up having to trailer it home with a full tank. Get home start poking around, take the cover off to look at the impeller, looks fine. Power up and hit switch and she spins away! Replace the cover and emptied the tank.

Any ideas out there on what the story could be??

looks to me some type of lose wiring or ground which you seem to fix while exploring , time will tell.

Thanks, problem is intermittent and happened again today. Cannot see the power or ground wire as it is on the opposite side as the impeller access point, but it feels hard wired in and leads to a plug on the wiring harness, I think, so I am not finding a loose ground wire. Didn't get as lucky today by removing the panel and jiggling the impeller, but after a few tries it came to life. Planning to call this one in tomorrow. Any other ideas?

I don't know why this is happening to your boat (wiring most likely), bur I always keep a tsunami pump so I don't have to drive with the full ballast one one side. Any distance and that may do some damage to the trailer tires I would imagine

Follow up: dealer replaced pump under warranty.
