Engine Overheated, Engine Hours Reset to Zero, and Engine Won't Fire

Been a while since I have been on the site, but I've run into an issue I'm hoping some of you forum members can help me with. I have a 2003 210 SAN with the Excal 330 engine. This past week we were surfing and all of a sudden the engine dies. I restart it back up and it runs fine the rest of the day. Next day while surfing the engine temp ran up to 190 and got the hot engine warning light. I immediately shut the engine down and eventually made it back to a buddies dock. The pump belt was loose and thought that may have been the problem. Tightened it up and waited about an hour to take the short trip back to my dock - during the ride the temp seemed to stabilize somewhat, but I may have a bad impeller. Kept the boat in the boathouse the rest of the day.

Next day, we start out in the morning, boat starts fine, but then dies as we are idling away from the boathouse. Engine turns over but won't start and I notice that the engine hours have reset to zero. I have checked the circuit breakers, disconnected the battery for a day, but still no luck. Any ideas or advice would be appreciate - thanks in advance.

As an update I contacted White Lake Marine and talked to David about my engine issue. He recommended that I check the kill switch by removing both wires and bypassing, as well as the (3) relays under the engine cover. Turns out that one of the relays had worked loose from the connector and after snapping it back in place, all is good.
