    99' GT40 service manual/electrical wiring diagrams

Does anyone know where I can get my hands on the wiring diagrams for a 99' Air GT40? I added a few upgrades for the 4th and I ran into some problems... I installed a new battery isolator and to do so I had to remove the orange charging wire from the 60 amp breaker and run it to the isolator, which then sends the current to both of my batteries. I also installed a set of docking lights, some underwater lights, and added a new nav light to the top of the tower so I dont have to use that stupid looking pole. Everything was working just fine until it got dark and I turned on the lights. They ran fine for about an hour or so until they tripped the 60 amp breaker and everything but the accessorie switch (which is wired to the second battery) lost power. It took a little while for me to figure out what the problem was - but it was an easy fix once i did. Unfortunately, it happened again later in the evening and to get the breaker to reset I had to wait 5-10 min for it to cool off. It was quite warm in the engine compartment, which was odd seeing as the thermostat was at a steady 160F, the weather was pretty cool, and the temp in tahoe was in the low 60's.

Maybe this is something that is typical - but I have had the boat for 5 years and I dont make a habit of opening the engine cover, so I have never noticed it before. The only reason that I can think of for the breaker tripping is that the courtesy lights (which have the underwater lights wired to the same switch) consume considerably more power than I was estimating - or that the higher temp inside the engine cover caused the breaker to trip below 60 amps.

It should be an easy fix to run a new power wire from the battery to the instrument pannel so it doesn't need to run all around the boat twice to get power to the dash, but it would be nice to have the wiring diagrams to take a look at and make sure I didn't miss anything when I was installing the battery isolator which is causing some sort of feedback.

You can download the GT-40 service manual from this site, downloads section.
I am not sure about a wiring diagram for the actual boat.

If the boats wiring is similar to a 1997 Ski Nautique, it is not very robust. I would recommend bringing a extra heavy fused wire directly from the battery, along with an extra ground wire. Run the positive wire tu a fuse panel. Use the auxiliary breakers on the dash board to control a relay, and switch the heavy electrical loads with the relays.
