So when I purchased my boat the actuator had already gone out. I don't really care to have a motorized hatch. However using our stern light as a prop rod is pretty lame when you have such a nice boat. I'm thinking of a way to use the same type of gas struts used on the DD boats to hold my engine cover up. Has anyone on here done a conversion like this?
