ID:	3770339 years and 520 hours of running in brackish water.....Risers and Manifolds bit the dust. Looks like they were a year or two overdue. 4 hours later and I had it all back together again and running nice and cool.

Did you have any leaks? My boat is about 8 years old, with 300 brackish hours(524) total. It's closed cooled, but I know that doesn't matter for these parts. I was going to just get te service kit from nautiqueparts.com. Should I just go full bore and replace everything; after an inspection of course.

I run a closed system as well...the inside of the risers were really bad. No external leaking but after cooking an impeller and doing some diagnostic I knew the risers were toast. Get another gasket and break lose the bolts to the riser and take a look.....can't hurt.
